Stewarding transitions and transformations to sustainability
This group focuses on identifying how groups, organisations, and societies can drive the major transformations needed to overcome and transcend the growing significant social and environmental challenges facing our planet.
Attaining, or going beyond the Sustainable Development Goals for example, requires systemic change and an integrated approach to global challenges on numerous different levels.
It also requires surfacing and challenging deeply held assumptions. In this group our research seeks to understand how system change comes about and how transitions to more sustainable futures - such as in low carbon energy or food systems, inclusive society - can be stewarded and supported.
