I became a PhD researcher of Department of Environment and Geography, University of York in 2020. My current research interests focus on environmental governance and sustainable development, e.g., environmental policy, institutional impacts, and capacity building. Previously, I mainly engaged in lectures and research on land use planning, ecological capacity assessment, valuation of ecosystem functions and services, as well as biodiversity conservation. My PhD project at UoY is to study mechanisms that govern stakeholders in dealing with desertification in China.
