Chompunut is a PhD student interested in climate change adaptation strategies for the tourism sector along the coastal areas in Thailand under the supervision of Professor Lindsay Stringer and Dr Paul Hudson.
Her work aims to develop an adaptation plan for specific adaptation needs through the proactive engagement of stakeholders to implement concrete adaptation implementations effectively.
She has a BSc in Soil Science from Prince of Songkhla University and an MSc in Environmental Science from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Before starting her PhD, she worked as an environmental official for the office of natural resources and environmental policy and planning at, ministry of natural resources and environment, Thailand.
