Sophie Williams wins "I'm a scientist" competition

Sophie Williams, PhD student in Environment, wins the Americium Zone competition of "I'm a Scientist".
The "I'm a Scientist, Get me out of here!" competition runs every year and pits real scientists talking to school children against each other. Every day over two weeks, the schools vote for who should stay in. This year, Sophie Williams, a PhD canditate in Environment, won the Americium Zone! Sophie said "Thank you to all the young scientists who voted for me...I promise to use the money to teach about climate change to ensure the planet is a better place for you! I hope I inspired some of you to get into science".
