Environment Department awarded 91% for Overall Satisfaction in the NSS (2015-16)

Final year undergraduate students who filled in the National Student Survey (NSS) have scored the Environment Department 91% for Overall Satisfaction.
The NSS is published annually and provides final year undergraduates with the opportunity to evaluate their university learning experience.
When asked to rate the Teaching, Academic Support, Organisation, Learning Resources, Personal Development on their degrees, students awarded the department over 90% in all categories.
This year's amazing NSS results highlight the Environment Department's continued commitment to teaching excellence and the overall student experience.
Head of Department Professor Mark Hodson said "These results highlight the excellent training our students get from our dedicated staff. Together with our new state-of-the art building they are yet another great reason why York is a fantastic place to study the environment".
