The Careers club aims to provide the opportunity for students to hear from people in various fields of environmental work talk about their career paths, and answer your questions about career development.
When a speaker is available the club will generally take place at 13:15 on a Thursday in semester time, keep an eye on your emails for updates. These sessions will be informal (feel free to bring lunch!) and the time can be counted towards your postgraduate training record.
Please email Sal Hobbs on sjh519@york.ac.uk if you have any suggestions of people who may be willing to talk about their own career, or ideas about the sort of careers you would like to hear more about.
The Biology department also holds 'Coffee and Careers' sessions once a month, which Department of Environment and Geography students can attend.
