The field trip locations vary depending on your course of study:

  • Year 1: Explore the North York Moors and local cities in North Yorkshire.
  • Year 2: Travel to European destinations and the Western Isles of Scotland (degree-dependent). Note: These locations are being reviewed for 2025-26 and may change.

The Department covers the full cost of Year 1 and Year 2 trips. The Year 3 trip, as part of an optional module, requires a small nominal fee.
