Breaking down barriers 

Too often an individual’s ability to succeed is hampered by systemic, social and economic barriers,  such as lack of access to networks, insight, gender or race and financial stability. At Enterprise Works, we are committed to breaking these barriers. We provide the tools, understanding, confidence, and support needed to thrive in business, offering a safe space to test ideas and access to a knowledgeable network.

Our Approach

• Expanding Support: We extend our success in supporting student and staff start-ups to the region’s entrepreneurs, ensuring holistic support, advice and funding programs are available to anyone with a business idea

• Facilitating Engagement: We act as a gateway for small businesses to collaborate with the University, building communities of entrepreneurs from start-up to exit, and programs that bring together thought leaders, business owners, policy makers, and researchers.

• Fostering Diversity: We create a diverse ecosystem that supports and enables easy access to high-quality advice and the exchange of ideas and undertake action-focused research in support of policy development.
