The packs are intended to support teachers by providing useful teaching resources and guidance. The classroom materials introduce KS1 pupils to Shakespeare and can be adapted to suit higher and lower year groups.
The guide material sets out the background to the project and explains the benefits of the activities for pupils learning English as an additional language.
It includes additional activities to help children become more familiar with the characters, the setting of the plays and the ideas and issues raised during the workshop sessions.

This pack includes workshops and simple classroom activities which encourage children to explore the play's themes of freedom, love and punishment.
Activities include role playing, discussion topics and reading exercises with timescales ranging from five to fifteen minutes.

This pack introduces the key characters and explores themes and emotions including growing up and anger. It includes activities which encourage children to link their own experiences of growing up with those of one of the key characters.
