Hailing from Singapore, Sharlene Teo is one of the most exciting and innovative contemporary novelists to debut in recent years.
Her first novel Ponti won the Deborah Rogers Writers Award even before publication, with Ian McEwan describing the book as ‘remarkable’, praising the way ‘her characters glow with life and humour and minutely observed desperation’.
Join Sharlene as she reads from her new work and discusses her fiction with Alexandra Kingston-Reese of the University of York’s Department of English and Related Literature.
You can order signed copies of Ponti from Fox Lane Books
