David Edgar is a leading British playwright, who has written extensively for the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company, for whom he wrote a multi-award winning adaptation of Dickens' Nicholas Nickleby. He founded Britain's first playwriting MA and was President of the Writers' Guild.
This is a Writers at York event.
Writers at York offers a lively programme of public readings and workshops, and aims to celebrate and explore the work of emerging and established contemporary writers.
