Congratulations to Wiktoria Tunska!
Congratulations to Wiktoria Tunska, PhD student in the Department of English and Related Literature, who has been awarded 3rd Prize in the 2021 Humanities Research Centre Poster Competition.
The judging panel commented that they 'really appreciated the excellent graphic - the clever use of image and text within a harmonious colour scheme and a narrative that invited further discussion. It was an engaging and fascinating poster'.
The brief for the competition was to produce a poster that:
- offers a clear 'taster encounter' with your research project for a non-specialist audience, and
- has quickly appreciable dramatic visual impact
16 entries were received from across the Faculty, and the judging panel was overwhelmed by the very high standard of this year’s competition.
The judges said that 'Picking just three winners was incredibly difficult, and we would like to give an honourable mention to all the entries to this year’s competition. This year’s competition was run in very challenging circumstances, and we really appreciate the time and effort that all the entrants put into communicating their research in such an accessible way'.
All entries can be seen in the online gallery.
