The league table is derived from official data from the Research Excellence Framework 2014, the Higher Education Statistics Agency and this year’s National Student Survey, and also takes into account factors such as graduate prospects.
In total, five departments at the University were ranked in the UK top ten: Chemistry (4th), English (5th), History (6th), History of Art (6th), and Social Work (9th).
