Free pre-show talks for Shakespeare's Rose Theatre

Learn more about Shakespeare's plays in talks accompanying four adventurous productions in York this summer.
The 'pop-up' Shakespeare's Rose Theatre, which has been constructed opposite York’s Clifford’s Tower, will host four Shakespeare plays: Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Richard III, with a season running until 2nd September.
Professor Peter Holland (Notre Dame), Professor Tiffany Stern (Oxford), Professor Mark Ormrod (York), Dr Megan Murray-Pepper,Professor Judith Buchanan (York), and Professor Helen Smith (York) will deliver a series of talks and lectures designed to help you understand and enjoy these popular plays.
All events are free to attend by pre-registration.
