English graduate appointed to British Library post

Film and Literature MA student Alex Killeen has been appointed Press Assistant to the British Library.

York English graduate Alex Killeen has been appointed Press Assistant to the British Library. 

Alex completed his BA in the Department of English and Related Literature in July 2015.  He then took the MA in Film and Literature, writing his dissertation on ‘Islamophobia in Contemporary American Film’ and graduating in September 2016 with Distinction. 

As a student of film, Alex is looking forward to life in London - but he retains an ambition to return to academic life in the future to write a PhD on Cold War environmentalism!
