Miriam Johnson, a third year finalist, has been awarded the 3rd Year Undergraduate Conference Prize for her paper 'Paradise Lost: The Stuff of Satan in the Landscape of Chaos'. The event, now in its fourth year, has featured some of the best student work produced in the Department, and the prize itself is awarded both for academic excellence and the quality of delivery. Charlotte Morrin's paper, 'Menstruous, Monstrous Maidens: Female Blood-lett(er)ing on the Renaissance Stage' was also highly commended, in a very strong set of papers.
