Her paper, '"Tainted by Fearful Arts": Senecan Rhetoric and Black Magic in King Lear' won the award, in a very strong line-up. The event took place on 6th March 2014.
Students presented their own research with the help of a team of postgraduate students, who mentored and assisted the undergraduates in preparing their talks. The prize itself was awarded for both academic excellence and sheer theatre of delivery.
Commendations were awarded to Philppa Holman, Anna Henley and Lauren Spence.
