Methods in Madness: or, how to work on the 'Lady's Magazine'

Jennie Batchelor leads an interactive workshop using the University's fine special collection of the most successful and influential women's periodical of the long eighteenth century, the Lady's Magazine (1770-1832).
The workshop will give participants hands-on experience of working with original copies of magazines and their digital surrogates and will pose questions about and help participants to overcome the methodological challenges of working with such publications.
