'Capturing' live Shakespearean theatre

John Wyver, Director of Screen Productions at the RSC and executive producer of all the 'Live from Statford-upon-Avon' theatre broadcasts, will be talking about the process of 'capturing' live Shakespearean theatre and transmitting it to the world, with a special concentration on the current King Lear production starring Antony Sher that was broadcast live from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon to UK cinemas and selected countries on 12th October 2016.
