Prison Fictions and Writing Imprisonment

3.00pm: Playwright Lynda Radley (Futureproof, The Art of Swimming) and Kate Hendry (Motherwell College) will talk about issues around creative writing in prisons, with particular focus on Scotland's Inspiring Change project.

Followed by: Launch of PEN, a branch of English PEN, led by undergraduate and graduate students in the Department.

5.30pm: The day will culminate in the Writing Imprisonment panel, with Erwin James, David Wilson and Gillian Slovo.
