Audio and acoustics

Combining techniques including signal processing, acoustic modelling, and machine learning, with experimental work in psychoacoustics and perception, our team produces world-leading research in audio with impact across society.

We have a strong track record working with industry, applying our diverse intradisciplinary expertise to present creative solutions for audio and bioacoustic applications with companies including, Google, Huawei, the BBC, York Theatre Royal, Meridian Audio, ARUP and AECOM.
