Professor Ian Davies visited the University of Toronto from 11-14 May 2017 to lead a public event, seminars and project meetings regarding the Leverhulme funded project Youth activism, engagement and the development of new civic learning spaces. The project team is made up of colleagues from Australia, Canada, Hungary, Lebanon. Singapore and the UK. A wide range of Canadian-based academics and activists worked with the project team during the visit.
Ian Davies co-organised and presented at an invitation seminar held at St. George's House, Windsor Castle during 22-23 May. The theme of the seminar was 'connecting character education with citizenship education'.
