Hong Kong research grant and honorary professorship for Professor Ian Davies

Professor Ian Davies is part of a team of researchers awarded $HK810,328 for a project entitled "Post Anti-national Education and Occupy Movement in Hong Kong: Characteristics of National Education in the Perceptions of Hong Kong Secondary School Civic Education Teachers" by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council. The project is led by York PhD graduate Eric Chong, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences, Education University of Hong Kong. It will involve a team of researchers who will conduct surveys and interview students, parents and teachers.

Ian has also been re-appointed Honorary Professor of the Department of Social Sciences at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences of the Education University of Hong Kong, until 31 July 2019.
