Communicating Research: Contributions to Social Justice through Education
The students of the CRESJ would like to invite statements of interest for all students working in education and social justice research for our very first poster presentation workshop!
Date for the event: Thursday 11th June, at 12:00pm
Venue: YH/001b, Research Centre for the Social Sciences, Innovation Way, York
The goal of this event is to provide us an opportunity to practice sharing out research visually, via poster presentations, with an opportunity to receive detailed feedback from peers and academics in the research group. All presentations will be done via PowerPoint, so presenters don’t have to worry about the cost of having a poster printed!
Presentations will address the following questions:
- How does the research contribute to education and social justice?
- What is the envisaged impact of the research on the wider community?
- How does the methodology contribute to education and social justice?
Presenters will have 3'-5' to communicate your research and 10' for detailed feedback from peers and academics in the research group.
