Congratulations to our PhD student Khalid Alahmed

Khalid has successfully defended his PhD thesis and met the requirements for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Education. The award was approved by the Standing Committee on Assessment on 1 May 2018.

His research topic focused on 'Developing Strategic Competence through Task-Based Language Teaching: A Comparison of Implicit and Explicit Instruction'.

Khalid was supervised by Dr Zoe Handley.
