Why did you decide to train as a teacher?
I spent some time doing private tutoring and enjoyed it so I decided to make a living out of teaching.
Why did you choose to train with the University of York?
The University has a great reputation and I really like living in York.
What have been particular highlights of your training so far?
The coursemates have been amazing, very friendly and supportive.
What advice would you give to current University of York undergraduates in your subject area who are thinking of teaching and considering doing their training at York?
Get some experience in schools, eg through the schools' experience programme. Apply early and keep the application process rolling.
