The awardees are:
ESRC PhD studentship - Agata Lambrechts studying ‘Access to HE for refugees in the EU’
White Rose PhD studentship - Natalie Smith, to be supervised by Claudine Bowyer Crane. Her research topic is ‘Reading comprehension skills in children learning English as an additional language’
Departmental PhD studentship - Madeline Crosswaite studying ‘Teacher perceptions of genetic influences on educational achievement’
Departmental PhD studentship - Annis Stead. Her topic is "questioning lad culture" and supervisor will be Vanita Sundaram
