Student perspective on part-time learning

Posted on 10 March 2014

MA Teaching English to Young Learners student Lucy Carlton featured in a Guardian piece on part-time distance learning.

The article, printed on 4 March 2014, explained that Lucy lives at home with her parents and works as a teaching assistant at a secondary school. Lucy finds the eight hours of tasks and eight hours of further reading workload is manageable in evenings and weekends as the work is interesting.
Lucy said, “I feel it is beneficial doing an online degree because you can apply what you are learning straight away.”
The two-year part-time distance learning degree is specially designed for professionals worldwide involved in teaching English to young learners.
