Education academic wins top PhD supervisor award

Students from Social Sciences departments across the White Rose universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield were asked if they would like to nominate their supervisor to be shortlisted for the award. Dr Szczepek Reed, who is Chair of the Board of Studies for the Department of Education, was then selected as overall winner of this year’s title.
The award was presented at the third annual Spring Conference of the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre at the Edge, University of Sheffield, at the end of May.
