The Higher York Awards for Student Volunteering

Students win awards at The Higher York Awards for Student Volunteering.

The Higher York Awards for Student Volunteering were held at the Early Music Centre on Monday 9th May. Education undergraduates were nominated for a total of 3 awards and won awards in 2 categories.

The Education Cookery project, which took place in Summer 2010 as part of the Department's Volunteering and Enrichment programme was nominated for an award. Kay Moloney and Belema Abule won awards for volunteering work that they had participated in through the University's Community and Volunteering Unit.
