Paul Wakeling wins ‘Supervisor of the Year’ award

Many congratulations to Dr Paul Wakeling, who won one of the six ‘Supervisor of the Year’ awards on 1 July 2010.  The ‘Supervisor of the Year’ awards are organised by the University of York Students’ Union, and voted for by students.  Paul was commended in particular for the academic support he offered students in the Department. 

The Department also had a very high number of staff nominated for the awards – eighteen staff in total, continuing the high standard set last year when Dr Vanita Sundaram also won a ‘Supervisor of the Year’ award.
