Research into how the coronavirus crisis is affecting the mental health of SEND pupils suggests more support is needed.
Just before schools closed, researchers contacted parents and asked them to report on how their circumstances changed under lockdown, and how their children reacted. Responses were grouped into six categories; worry, loss, mood and behaviour, not knowing what is going on, feeling overwhelmed, a lockdown benefit?.
