The Nuffield Early Language Intervention programme aims to improve the language skills of children at the early stages of schooling and a recent evaluation by the Education Endowment Foundation found that this programme improved the vocabulary, grammar and listening skills of children aged 4-5 years of age.
The programme is written by Maggie Snowling CBE, President of St John’s College, Oxford, Charles Hulme FBA, Professor of Psychology and Education at the University of Oxford, Claudine Bowyer-Crane, Senior Lecturer, Psychology in Education, University of York and Silke Fricke, Senior Lecturer, Human Communication Sciences, University of Sheffield.
