UYSEG awarded grant to assess school science practical skills

Judith Bennett and Alistair Moore in the University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG) have been awarded a research grant of £300,000 for a project on the assessment of practical skills in school science.

This will be  a collaborative project with staff at King's College, London.  The project is one of a small number of grants awarded as part of a major initiative on the assessment of practical skills, funded jointly by the Wellcome Trust, The Gatsby Foundation and the Royal Society.
