An initiative by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology allows high schools to be recognised as a 'Super Global High School'. The initiative aims to foster globalised leaders who will be able to play active roles on the international stage through education at high schools that contribute to this mission. High school students are required to conduct fieldwork both domestically and internationally on a research topic as part of their learning, in order to broaden their views and pursue their goals.
Students and staff took part in seminars and made presentations about their own research projects as well as experiencing life in another country and improving their English language skills.
