Education is among the University of York’s oldest departments and was one of the first subjects to be offered to prospective students when the University of York first opened its doors in October 1963.
The Department’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2013 provided an opportunity to look back at our achievements and to reflect on how far the Department has come.
