Profile

Biography

I have just been awarded my doctorate in Economics by the University of York. My supervisors are Professor Zaifu Yang and Dr. Andrew Pickering. My main research interests are in the areas of political economy, applied microeconomics, and game theory. My research examines: i) whether and how resource windfalls affect military spending and public spending; ii) choice over the coverage of redistributive land reform; iii) choice over the size of enfranchisement.
