Biography

Abdullah Almaghlouth is a PhD student at the Department of Economics and Related Studies. His main research interests are in the areas of Financial Economics, Corporate Finance, Banking, Regulations and Venture Capital. Abdullah has a bachelor degree in Accounting and a master degree in Economics.

Prior to joining the PhD program at the University of York, Abdullah was a full-time lecturer in the Department of Economics at King Faisal University (Saudi Arabia). Abdullah has taught several courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Energy Economics, and Money and Banking. Abdullah has involved in many roles during his working time at King Faisal University including roles in the committee of decision-making support unit, the committee of Marketing the Master program of Energy Economics, and the committee of developing Key Performance indicators (KPIs), to name a few. Abdullah also has worked as a consultant with some governmental entities.
