Kevin Killeen wins 2024 Bainton Prize

Kevin Killeen has been awarded the 2024 Bainton Prize, for his monograph, The Unknowable in Early Modern Thought: Natural Philosophy and the Poetics of the Ineffable (Stanford University Press, 2023).

The award, for the 'Best book in History and Theology', was made by the Sixteenth Century Society, at their Annual Conference in Toronto.

Kevin has previously won the Bainton award for the Best Reference Work (2016), for his book, edited with Helen Smith and Rachel Willie, The Oxford Handbook of the Bible in Early Modern England.
