SCSC Roland Bainton Prize for Reference Works

Congratulations to CREMS members Kevin Killeen and Helen Smith along with Rachel Willie (John Moores) whose recent publication has been awarded the Roland H. Bainton Prize (for Reference Works) by the Council of the Sixteenth Century Society and Conference.
The Oxford Handbook of the Bible in Early Modern England, c. 1530-1700 (OUP, 2015) which emerged from the inaugural Festival of Ideas, 2011, contains 40 essays from leading scholars across the globe on the role of the Bible in every aspect of 16th and 17th century life.
