'Why the History of Intoxicants?'

Professor Phil Withington (University of Sheffield) will be speaking on his research as principle investigator of the ESRC/AHRC project on early modern intoxicants, including an introduction to the newly unveiled Intoxicants and Early Modernity,1580-1740 project database.
