Speaker(s): Ben Kaplan (UCL)
The Cabinet of Curiosities, with support from CREMS, is hosting a seminar with Professor Ben Kaplan, from UCL, who will speak about his recent piece on the legal rights of religious refugees, followed by a Q and A held over lunch. The paper was given at a recent conference comparing refuge for religious minorities in the 17th and 18th centuries with the current Common European Asylum System. Professor Kaplan's wider research includes the broader histories of religious toleration and conflict in early modern Europe.
Lunch will be provided.
