This event is part of the official launch of the 3-year Arts and Humanities Research Council project "Remembering the Reformation", which will coincide with the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation in 2017. The historical memory of the Reformation has influenced human society all over the world and is embodied in a vast array of material objects, images, rituals, traditions and texts. A number of historic treasures from the York Minster Collections will be on display, with expert contributions from Eamon Duffy (University of Cambridge), Alexandra Walsham (University of Cambridge) and Brian Cummings (University of York).
