The Cabinet of Curiosities, in association with the Centre for Renaissance and Early Modern Studies at the University of York, is hosting a one-day conference on the theme of "The Early Modern World: Near and Far, 1450-1650". This interdisciplinary conference will explore the concepts and ideas that existed in the early modern world and its implications with the wider world, both near (namely Europe) and far (other areas around the world, including but not limited to Asia and the Middle East).
Space is limited and is based on first come, first served. Tickets (via the registration link below) include access to the conference, the conference lunch and refreshments. The conference timetable is posted below.
