Wednesday 7 January 2015, 8.45AM to 5.45 pm
Sixteen researchers from across the York academic community - including CREMS Director, Helen Smith - will offer fast-paced and enticing views of their research to a wide audience.
YorkTalks was inaugurated as part of the University’s 50th anniversary year with our Anniversary Professors presenting their research as part of a day-long event. The event is purposefully styled to emulate the best of TED style talks. Last year’s audience was drawn from the York and regional academic community, donors and alumni supports of the University and the general public. The event is designed to encourage inter-disciplinary interactions by bringing together academic speakers from different disciplines in each session.
Each session is ticketed separately to encourage audiences to attend as much of the day as they can. For programme details and to book tickets, please visit the YorkTalks website.
Location: Bowland auditorium, Berrick Saul building.
