One of the most moving collections of Renaissance music is brought to life by I Fagiolini as a contemporary movie. Claudio Monteverdi's Fourth Book of Madrigals (1603) explores differing emotional states of abandoned lovers through the most dramatic and amazingly modern music for voal ensemble.
The 60-minute film will be followed by audience discussion with the film's music director, Robert Hollingworth.
