Biography

Melissa is a Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis at CRD. Her research interests are in qualitative evidence synthesis methods, the use of evidence in decision-making and evaluating complex interventions. 

Prior to joining CRD in 2025, Melissa worked in the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group based at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Her PhD thesis explored methods for improving the use of qualitative research in global decision-making.
