Gary is a Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis at CRD. His research interests include public health, gender and health, and health inequalities.
Prior to joining CRD, Gary was involved in conducting evaluations, systematic reviews and other forms of evidence synthesis covering a diverse range of public health issues. This included reviews examining peer-based interventions to improve health in prison settings, proposed explanations for "excess" mortality in Scotland, mental health promotion amongst adult males, and patients’ experiences of penile cancer.
