Amanda Sowden is Deputy Director and leads CRD’s research programme in public health. Her interests are in research synthesis to evaluate complex interventions to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities. She is a collaborator in the NIHR Policy Research Programme funded Policy Research Unit in Public Health (http://phrc.lshtm.ac.uk/index.html).
Amanda is Deputy Director of the NIHR Policy Research Programme funded Policy Reviews Facility which supports national policy development and implementation (http://eppi.ioe.ac.uk/cms/Default.aspx?tabid=73). She is a member of the Public Health Interventions Advisory Committee at NICE and a member of the NIHR Public Health Research Funding Committee.
