Module evaluations
Tell us what you think
We aim to give you the best learning experiences on all your modules - and we cannot do this without your feedback. Please help us ensure that we produce teaching of the highest standard by completing the module evaluation forms
This short guide tells you more about module evaluations, how you can submit your comments, and what we will do with your feedback
How you can submit your feedback
"Thank you for supporting us to ensure your learning and teaching experiences are the best they can be."
Katrina Attwood, Chair of Board of Studies, October 2021
- We use the Qualtrics online survey tool to collect feedback. You can complete the survey form on your phone, on a laptop or on a PC.
- For each module, the online module evaluation form is released to students via the VLE towards the end of teaching for that module. We will provide time in the final teaching sessions for you to complete the survey. Overall, you have two weeks to complete your feedback before the survey closes. Your responses are anonymous.
- Where a module is taught by multiple lecturers, the survey will allow you to rate each lecturer separately.
How we respond to your feedback
- The academic staff member(s) will post a brief summary of comments made by students on the module website. They will also include their responses to issues raised or suggestions made. In particular, any module changes to be made before the module runs in the following academic year, will be highlighted.
- If you are dissatisfied with any of the responses from module leaders, please contact your student rep, and explain why you are dissatisfied. They will then bring it to the attention of Department staff through the most appropriate channels.
Your feedback
In the PDF documents listed below, you'll find students' feedback from previous sessions. Feedback from modules currently being taught will be published here at the end of the semester.
